About the Artist

Marcos’s work focuses on the collage; he loves taking images away from their original contexts and inter-splicing them another meaning. For hime, time past and time future are united in a perpetual possibility of change and creation.

He always tries to play with the puns and irony. To achieve this, he uses old images as they reinforce the contrast which is inserted into the collage-based form of expression.

His collages and paintings are formed by images that have no apparent connection and their meaning becomes clear in their combination. It is up to you to interpret them!
